Electronic Repair of Musical Instruments and Equipment since 1980

Today’s PRICES

In spite of the economy of today, BACK STAGE retains close to the same bench pricing as we did in the 1990’s. We do not feel that you should have to pay more for something than you did in 2000. If a home is worth today what it was in 1996, then, why should it cost you much more to repair something now then it did then? (I wish gasoline and food were like this).

RATES

(Charges are approximate only and include 1st hour of labor, cleaning, chemicals, and testing)

---------------------------------------

Keyboards - $50.00 and up (except for non-professional keyboards which are either not worth repairing or less than this) Average labor charge is $65.00.

Power amps - $50.00 bench charge plus parts and any labor after one hour).

Mixers (unpowered) – $50.00 to xxxxxxx?? (Plus parts and any labor after one hour).  These are done on a “per piece” basis depending upon the complexity and the number of channels.

Powered Mixers - $65.00 plus parts and any labor after one hour. (This is because they are actually two pieces of gear in one-i.e. a "mixer" and a "power amp".)

Accessories (foot pedals, wireless units (usually as with microphones it is best that you send them back to the manufacturer), do-dads and trinkets, etc….. $5.00 and up depending upon the complexity and labor involved (parts are extra) etc…

"RUSH JOBS"  are $25.00 per incident in addition to normal repair charges. If we do not repair it by the agreed upon date--we don't charge you the $25.00 extra. (24 hours or less is typical)

*Basically, these prices are just ball-park. Please be sure to put on the repair tag the amount that you will pre-authorize above these guidelines complete with a legible phone number and address. We will call you if we think it is going to cost more.

OUR WARRANTY - We warranty all our repairs for the same problem only and for 30 days. We do not cover customer misuse-abuse. (Sometimes new problems have the same symptoms i.e. “a blown fuse” can be caused by many things).  ALL  Repairs are subjected to a "Shake and Bake" one hour under nominal load conditions and vibration tested before they leave the shop.
